Don Powell, Jr.and WJCR/WNFC Radio invite everyone to the 6TH Annual Food Ministry Benefit And Festival at WJCR, Sat., May 19th. It will a day of free food, fun and fellowship. Something for everyone! From Mom and Dad, children and Grampa and Grandma. Clowns face painting, Bouncy House and Giant Slide for the kids, 12 and under. The scheduled singers will sing under the big Pavillion and they are Mike Rimmey, Randy Swift and his wife Rhonda, Mike Manuel, and Carson Howard..Admission is 3 canned goods per person. Gates open at 8:30AM EDT. The big Auction begins at 10:00AM, with a large variety of items, including Antiques, Furniture, large and small items, too numerous to list. Corn Hole Contest begins at 11:00AM. The Omega Force perform feats of strength, while presenting the gospel at 11:30AM. Dinner On The Grounds 12:30 to 2:00 and it's all free! Pig Roast Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, desserts and drinks. There willl be a Car Cruise & Contest. Bring your Rods, Machines, Classics and Antiques. Call Bob Williams for information, 270-230-5419. Sat.,June 30 WJCR/WNFC celebrate and honor the Singing Cookes for Fifty Years of Ministry at WJCR, under the big Pavillion. The Turnes, Davis, Carolyn and Amanda, along with Lou Bingham and Bill Hudson will open the concert. There will be special performances by the Singing Cookes and the Cooke Brothers. JJ BBQ On The Road will be there with delicious BBQ, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Drinks, side items and Ice Cream. Very reasonable prices for such great food. There will be a $5.00 per car load donation, at the gate and an offering will be received for the Singing Cookes.
