WJCR 90.1 F.M. was founded by the vision and sacrifice of Rev. Don Powell, Sr. and his wife Gerri. We went on air in February 1990.
Don Powell Sr. went on to be with the Lord on November 21, 2004
and is greatly missed. We are honored to carry on the ministry in
his absence.
We are a 100, 000 watt station broadcasting 24 hours a day. Our format is Southern Gospel and Christian Country with a little Bluegrass thrown in for good measure. Prayer is a great part of our ministry and it is always first here. We have a live prayer broadcast each week night at 8:00 e.t. We are always glad to pray personally for anyone who may
call. We have a service each Sunday morning here on the property in The
House Of Prayer at 11:00 a.m. e.t. and it is broadcast live starting at
11:15 a.m. e.t. on 90.1.
